Sri la Sri Ramasamy Gnanadesikar succeeded him as the fourth head  of  the  mutt.   He reigned for  about  seven  years.   He constructed  a  wall  around Sri Andavar  temple,  Ashta  Lakshmi Mandapam,  and  a  kitchen  with dining  hall  for  the  mutt  at koviloor.
